Van Cortlandt Manor

Croton-on-Hudson, NY

Van Cortlandt Manor is a National Historic Landmark and home of The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, a major driver of economic development in the Lower Hudson Valley. Envoie has been engaged by Historic Hudson Valley, working in close collaboration with the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, to provide project management advisory services from bidding through construction to completion.

The project includes essential infrastructure improvements to ensure the safety, access, comfort, and enjoyment of visitors to the historic site and restore landscape elements that are central to the integrity of this site. Included in the project are capital improvements, such as sidewalks connecting the site to the adjacent Metro-North railroad station, the installation of bicycle racks and electric car charging stations, modifying historic pathways to ensure that they meet universal access requirements, and upgrading electric and data systems.

“Sited on the frontline of the American Revolution, Van Cortlandt Manor is a key part of New York State’s history. With these upgrades, Historic Hudson Valley will continue to share its story with the many thousands of people who visit this important National Historic Landmark each year.”
