In partnership with the Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM), Brooklyn Public Library developed the new Brower Park branch to service the North Crown Heights community. The new home for the Brower Park Branch opened in 2023, co-located within the BCM, providing a unique and integrated cultural resource for families in Central Brooklyn. The fit-out was a two-phased project: Phase I included renovation of the new BCM administrative mezzanine, and Phase II which included fit-out of the library space. The combination of these entities into a single location provides not just traditional book lending, but also provides access to the BCM’s 30,000-piece collection. Envoie’s role on the project included oversight of procurement, management of city funds, and financial cost reporting.
